Following the successful completion of the first phase of the Air Canada office fit-out, 3 Space was trusted with a new project: the refurbishment of Air Canada’s much-needed cargo office. Leanne, the senior designer, always chooses our product range, pushing the boundaries of creativity with every project. For this office, we produced a series of room divider Staves, each included with Air Canada’s iconic red leaf logo to ensure the brand’s presence was integrated into the interior.
The highlight of the design, however, is the Naturemoss world map along the corridor. This is no ordinary moss map — we added LED strips behind the continents to create a striking visual effect. Brass poles were also installed, pointing to key countries across Air Canada’s global network, and mini aeroplanes were added to complete the piece. This feature challenged our capabilities, but with the support of our entire team and the collaborative efforts of 3 Space, we are thrilled with the final result. We hope it will inspire other designers to approach us with challenging aspects of their interior design projects. Given Air Canada’s love for biophilic design, could phase 3 be on the horizon?
